Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering our core products. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, DevOps, and AI teams to develop secure, high-performance APIs and distributed services. Responsibilities include designing microservices, implementing REST APIs, optimizing databases, ensuring application security, improving system performance, writing automated tests, reviewing code, mentoring engineers, and participating in architectural decisions. The ideal candidate has strong experience building production-grade backend applications, cloud-native systems, and highly available distributed services.

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience. • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. • Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures. • Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Experience with JPA/Hibernate. • Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, OAuth2, and security best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git. • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
